What kind of green tea do you enjoy most?

Well being from Taiwan i've drank loose leaf oolong's all my life. Basically whatever was around the house. Japanese friends started to get me to drink the matcha stuff which i like but its kinda boring. Just wanted something new and exciting. Any good suggestions would be helpful.

What kind of teas are you looking to try?

Other oolongs? China makes some good Wuyi oolong, it's definitely a force to be reckoned with. I enjoy the Qi Lan organic Wuyi from Rishi-Teas.

Greens maybe? I wouldn't exactly call Japanese greens exciting, but they are definitely my favorite. Matcha is one of them, but sencha is wonderful, and there's a deep steamed version of sencha called fukamushi which is to die for.

Heh...you called Matcha Boring =] You'll have a lot of fun here with some of the green tea nazi's.

Glad to have an oolong man on board, so...seeing as you're from Taiwan....ever been to the Tung Ting Mountain?

If Tung Ting is the same as Dong Ding, then it most definitely is.

Dong Ding mountain, Nantou county, central Taiwan.

Hello, new friends! I'm brand new to this forum too, but have been a tea addict ever since my mom taught me a spot of milk in tea is a cure-all for anything. Recently took a marketing job in DC and will need the caffeine to get thru the long days! This is a wonderful tool, and man oh man, I cannot wait to begin tea-talkin.
