Greetings from Colorado

Hello All--
I am a new poster and wanted to introduce myself.
I am "Anodyne." (Errr, I am female, if that is not clear.) I live on the Front Range in central Colorado and can see the glorious Rockies out my back window. I moved here from a wretched Deep South town last year and have been blissfully happy ever since I moved West. It's been a goal of mine for years and years to live in CO!
I came to this tea business fairly recently. I have always liked green tea, as well as black teas, but really did not know much about the different varieties. About a month ago I took a geeky but fun tour of the Celestial Seasonings plant in Boulder, CO, and was amazed by its operations. Then I started researching tea and buying different types at my local Whole Foods, and it wasn't long before I got hooked. More recently I have been trying loose leaf types such as Adagio and Rishi and drink almost exclusively loose leaf types now. There is definitely a difference in quality between bagged teas and loose teas.
Right now I am drinking Adagio's Yunnan Jig and like it a lot. (I'm still learning all the tea lingo so I am rather inept at describing exactly *why* I like it...) My favorites so far, though, are two green teas, both Adagio greens: Gyokuro and Dragonwell. I try at least two new types of tea a day and am still making my way through my most recent Adagio order.
Right now I am wanting to explore CO's different tea houses. I went to the Dunshanbe Tea House in Boulder twice recently--I highly recommend this place if you want to visit a top notch tea house! http://www.boulderteahouse.com/
