So, it occurred to me that I've never formally introduced myself. That must be remedied!

I'm Ang, medievalist MA student, oolong addict, aspiring polyglot, and inveterate New Englander. I've been a lurker for nearly two years, so I'm not exactly new.

I'm trying to break my lurking habit!

That's quite a pedigree! I am usually afraid of polyglots, but I guess it will be OK as long as there is no physical contact.

The one thing you are not, is a stranger, but welcome anyway!

Somewhat rusty German, some French, Latin, Middle and Old English, and a smattering of Spanish.

I, uh... like languages.

I speak the English of the SouthEastern U.S. and Texas natively, and am fluent in mid-western dialect media English.

I have a passing familiarity with a number of living and dead languages, and an intermediate level of fluency in Spanish.
