Hello from a Newbie!

I'm Jennifer! A relatively new tea drinker. Ok, a VERY new tea drinker. I've been lurking around for a while and finally decided to join. This is a great place and I've learned so much already. Can't wait to learn more!!

Oh you will learn a lot more by posting here. That and beware the recruiters, the oolongians have one as good as most recruit officers for the army.

Welcome Jennlea. Good to have you aboard.

Granted you are new to tea, but you must have tasted something and there must be something that motivated you stick your head in the door here.

We must know all!

Welcome Jennlea, heh, I just approved your registration and you posted minutes later. I guess you lurked long enough!

Since you are a lurker, you know where TeaDay is. Please share what is in your cup often.

Enjoy the forum, drink GREEN and prosper!

Your right Sal. My dad took me to a Japanese restaurant and ordered their 'hot tea' for us to share. It was my 1st taste of green tea and I instantly became addicted. Always thought I hated black tea because of the sweet tea my grandma would make (she refused to have anything else to drink for us but water) but I am currently sampling all different of tea, trying to find my tastes. Right now, greens are my favorite, though oolongs are intriguing and samples are on their way!

Actually OOLONGS are a great place to start ... you can ease into greens over the next several years.

Welcome (try some oolongs) to the forum! We're really (try some delicious high mountain oolongs) glad to have you with us! Hope to hear lots (try some greenish darjeelings too, they are amazing) from you in the future (and green is ok too).
