Texas is a good place to say hello from, but I'm not so sure about Dallas.

Hello hello! I'm new to the world of loose teas as well! Teas are much more vast and complicated than I had originally thought, but they're wonderful! The first real loose tea I ever started drinking was Iron Goddess Oolong; a lovely mild and floral tea. I highly recommend it! But if you're not ready to dive into the Oolong teas, I'd go for green and/or some of the flavoured teas, since they're lovely and mellow and enticing.

Welcome!

Don't be afraid to ask questions, you can't get anywhere without them!

(though I probably bugged enough members on the forum with my own questions enough!)

Echoing Vulture here...

Everyone here has been very kind and helpful when it comes to answering questions. I have yet to encounter an "I don't know."

Welcome and have fun!
