Newbie here!

by TNTL » Mar 28th, '09, 21:12

Hello! Everyone!

I am Hooked on tea and am soaking in everything I can about it. A co-worker and friend, introduced me and I cannot thank her enough!

My favorites so far is white tea (I'm learning about the regions), however, The Year of the Ox by Jonathan Goodman is heavenly! It was given to me for my birthday.

I've tried a smokey tea, Russian Country another favorite. I can see drinking that accompanied with a well aged cheese, water crackers and grapes!

Anyway, if you have any suggestions or favorites for a newbie, let me know.

I am allergic to flowers.... even in tea so I do stay away from those.

I'm looking forward this new adventure and am pleased to be a part of a tea community.

Hi TNTL and welcome to the world of tea, enjoy the journey! I am looking forward to seeing you around the forum, stop by TeaDay and share what is in your cup!

Japanese greens are my fave, but like Chinese greens as well. Whites are great too.

Maybe you should try some samplars from Adagio!
blah blah blah SENCHA blah blah blah!!!

Hello!!

I recommend trying oolongs. I really enjoy those. And I'm assuming you've tried Lapsoung Souchong since you enjoy Russian Country.

Welcomeeee :) I do enjoy white teas myself! If you're into flavors, White Peach from Adagio is quite amazing! Hope to see you around!
