I'm drinking some Bai Ji Guan from Buddha Country Cliff from Five star Teas. Very mellow roast with a hint of unsweetened cocoa. Good thing I don't worry about having too much tea as I received two tea deliveries today. I've now got 110 grams of yancha samples from Five Star Tea plus my 100gr of Pre-NOTTI Sencha from Chip. Plus there's still quite a bit of EoT yancha samples, and soon some OTTI gyo. Ah, teajoy!

Isn't it wonderful?! I'm back to the Gao Shan Tie Guan Yin today, but I have a lot of oolongs on the way from Taiwan. Can't wait to try them.

Some surprisingly good medium-green Monkey Pick oolong from a smaller supermarket label here in Hong Kong. The most expensive tea (by weight). I thought it was terrible, but was using too much heat since I'm used to the high fire stuff: when brewed cooler, it's very pleasurable. :)

I have some of this in my queue. I was running out of the deeply roasted oolongs that I can count on as being less demanding than most wuyi or dancongs. But I opened the deep roast Dong Ding first. And today, I've had a few rounds with the Mountain Tea Li Shan, back in light oolong territory.

Some of a Sample of some 2012 Summer Mi Xiang Oolong from Nantou Taiwan.

Smells nice, but thats just about it. Honestly tastes a bit like warm water.

Bai Ji Guan 2012 1.5$/1g

I drink this tea first time and about this price I expected more. I have to compare this tea to FST Bai Ji Guan 2012.

Maybe its my new water?...Dont know;(

It was an oolong day yesterday: a medium roast winter Ali Shan that I still haven't quite figured out; another very nice session with 2011 Gong Xiang "Tribute Fragrance" Dan Cong, this time brewed up in a small porcelain gaiwan; and a final very pleasant session with "Imperial" Tie Guan Yin, floral and sweet. It was a good tea day.

Rather liking this 90s SX from five star tea. Complex and clean, with decent body and very strong chi.
