What do you like to eat with your oolong?

Owes its flavors to oxidation levels between green & black tea.

Well, I shall miss Burns Night because I fly out to Malaysia on the 23rd, - - - - - - So I am eating my Haggis, neeps and tatties now, before I fly away

I am actually drinking an exceptionally nice Rioja with it - but I do feel it would go well with a number of Oolongs

Oolongs are my all time favorite. I may have a pot of Oolong before eating or after eating but I would never want to have anything going across my taste buds near the same time. It would just ruin the experience.

I really like to drink oolong with chinese steamed buns and dumplings. I wish you hadn't asked this question...now I'm really craving for it.

Lo Sang aka Lo Hie aka many others

http://www.cultureledger.com/yusheng-ye ... or-lo-hei/

On the 7th day of CNY I celebrated Lo Hie in Jing Dian with copious cups of Oolong. Whilst tossing the food with Chopsticks we all had to shout Yee Sang or something similar which was translated as "money comes" or "bring me wealth"

On 9th day of CNY I celebrated it again in Se Chen tea shop slightly different foods and no shouting, the difference was explained as different nationalities vary the ritual and the name.

I will post some photos later.

I don't often eat whilst drinking tea, but occasionally, if it's in the morning, tang yuan or congee.

Allthough for now I'm on a strict non-suger diet in an attempt to develop a better sense of taste.
You can still eat chocolate with no sugar

they´re hard to find but there are chocolate bars with only cacao solids and cacao butter

also you could eat roasted cacao nibs

I mix a wuyi tincture with my crepe recipe. I also really like to drink any oolong with spicy foods!

:D I usually drink oolong before and after dinner. It can lose weight if you drink oolong after dinner. Eating cakes, cookie and even cold dish while drinking oolong, you will find the taste is great!

Wow, looks tasty! If I may ask ... a bit off topic. What fat do you use there in China for the crust?

this dough is made of wheat flower, butter, sugar and eggs. I added a little german packet of baking powder too, otherwise the ingredients are local this time.
Family and friends who live in UK and Germany do often send stuff that's hard to come by round here so I'm not all that limited by whats available locally. ;)
