Recently had a go with the rouguis from 7cups, both 2011 and 2010. They are quite different.

Brewing notes are for loosely full gaiwans, 5 grams to a 50ml output. Most would consider this too high for RG and I probably should've lowered the amount of leaf.

The 2010 was more spirited, had a slightly proteiny/eggy aftertaste reminiscent of tgy, but also the standard mineral aftertaste. Roast is a little heavier than 2011.

The 2011 was more centered, had a mineral aftertaste that gained momentum over infusions, interesting fragrances, but not the kind of floral fragrances I would've expected from a light roast Rougui. But I'm a rougui novice so what do I know.
