I'm looking for an oriental beauty oolong

by iovetea » Aug 6th, '12, 12:12

It might not be the most expensive oriental beauty and might even be cheap quality i dont know, but im looking for an oriental beauty i once drank. It was open leave like normal oriental beauty but it didnt have the honey flavour, it tasted like some chinese´?? fruit i never tasted, but one that i imagine would exist. If someone knows what oriental beauty im talking about, is there a special name for that kind of oriental beauty??

You're chasing shadows here.... I mean, even the same tea from the same farmer in a different year will taste different, so your best bet is just to sample a whole bunch of OB and buy the one that's the closest. OB comes in all shapes and sizes, figuratively.

Marshal is correct. You'll need to sample a variety, or buy from a grower with a reputation for consistency.
