Golden Teahouse - Branch - Franchise ??

by Herb_Master » Dec 17th, '08, 16:47

Scuttling about the web doing some research

A strong feeling of "Deja Vu" hit me when I opened Mei Lee's UK webpage on
Qi Dan

Did I not see something incredibly similar on Golden Teahouse an hour ago ?

Well my currency converter tells me the English site is a tiny bit cheaper than the Golden Teahouse site, and I would only be paying local shipping, and NO Customs duty !!
Seems a no-brainer !!!

Does anyone know if GTH is a Franchise style operation or has overseas branches ?
Best wishes from Cheshire

Yup, seems so :) They're actually retail sites for the wholesaler An Jing, which lists their consumer retail sites on their website - http://www.anjingteas.com/

When you buy tea from Golden Teahouse it comes labeled with An Jing sticker labels, which is the only reason I know. It seems they've added a few since the last time I looked.
