Good TeaDay one and all! Please drop in and share what is in your cup throughout the day.
Yesterday was an open TeaDay and members came up with some great topic. You can still vote and discuss yesterday's topic.
Today's TeaPoll and discussion topic. Going from one tea to the next during any given day, do you change types of tea? Please share.
As always I am looking forward to sharing this TeaDay with everyone. Bottoms up.

Re: Wednesday TeaDay 11/3/10 TeaChage?
yes, quite often I´ll switch from one type of tea to another through the day...but sometimes I´ll only drink one tea in a day or I´ll drink two different teas of the same type (like two senchas) in the same day so I don´t always switch.

Same. Often I switch throughout the day, other times I stick to one tea or one type. Don't normally give it much thought, just drink whatever strikes me.
Today it's been just oolong so far, TGY followed by Dong Ding. Thinking of switching to something else next.

Sometimes I stick to one tea, sometimes I brew two different ones in one day. But I rarely have three.
Planning to have one tea today, specifically Dragon Well.

I typically have one kind of tea in the morning, finish the infusions then by afternoon have another kind of tea. Sometimes I even throw in a 3rd for kicks!

Sure. I switch. Whatever strikes my fancy.
This morning, sencha miyabi. I usually touch on this one at least once a day.

Most days i only hae one tea per day, but on the days i do more than one, it is probably a 50/50 split as to whether i change types of tea or stick with the same.

Usually one type of tea a day; but do change sometimes.
Golden Monkey (Jin Hou) from Silk Road Teas this morning. Another tea I need to use up soon. Nice tea, but it will probably be a while before I re-order, as I have another un-opened 1/4 pound.

I usually stick with one tea a day, though it isn't unusual for me to have 2-3 different types a day. It just depends on my mood and how much spare time I have.
Roasted Dong-Ding this morning.

As of earlier this year, I have begun starting my day with a black tea. I really like this change. Then the rest of the day oolongs.
Started the day with Darjeeling from Tea Emporium, ready now for an oolong.
Supposed to be 93° or higher today. Yeah, in November.

I'm always switching tea throughout the day....except for the past couple weeks...I've been pretty lazy and I've just been re-brewing the same tea all day.
Re: Wednesday TeaDay 11/3/10 TeaChage?
I usually switch up at least twice each day, sometimes three.
Today started with a yunnan black, then Adagio Masters Ali Shan. Usually when I choose an Oolong for the second tea, it lasts the rest of the day.

Switch, switch, switch.....so many good teas, can't stick with just one unless I'm working on a comparative tasting.
Today, starting with some lovely Tie Guan Yin, a bright floral version from Norbu, and after this, I'm probably going to want something darker and earthier--probably puerh, or it could be a DanCong, or a wuyi....or even a darker roast traditional Ti Kuan Yin.

At least 2 or 3 different ones during a day. Today, I started with Jasmine Dragon Pearls, moved on to Bi Luo Chun, and finally some Golden Yunnan.

Re: Wednesday TeaDay 11/3/10 TeaChage?
I can go days brewing the same general type of tea several times w/o changing, sencha, and then can go days with switching things up from session to session during the course of a day.
Began this TD with sencha ... of course. A prelim tasting of Fuga SP from Zencha. SweeTea never protests this routine while Sashi and Space rolled their eyes at the selection.
I think sencha or maybe gyokuro will be next.
