Welcome TeaFans ... start your TeaKettles! And while you are at it, please share what is in your cup throughout the day.
Last weekend we discussed non tea interests, it was interesting hearing of members' interests! You can still vote and discuss the weekends topic.
Today's TeaPoll and discussion topic was suggested by Subdude who asks, "How many tea related bookmarks/favorites do you have? Bonus: Do you have them categorized and if so, how?" This should be fun and interesting!
Thanks Subdude!
I am looking forward to sharing the TeaDay with everyone. Bottoms up.

Re: Monday TeaDay 11/8/10 Bookmarked and Fave'd?
I have them categorized. I have about 10 in "stuff to buy one day", about 25 in "retailers" and about 15 in "review websites and TeaChat".
Now that it's a bit cooler in Florida I'm drinking even more tea. I have to be careful to not completely forget about drinking water lol.

I only have about 4 - websites that I've seen mentioned here that I'd like to try. My regular sites are always in my history so I don't bookmark them.

I have mine categorized by; Chinese Tea, Japanese Tea, and Korean Tea. I've got dozens in each one and they are organized by; tea ware, tea, artisans, and wholesalers.
So much tea ware, so little money!

Re: Monday TeaDay 11/8/10 Bookmarked and Fave'd?
I've got around 50 tea related bookmarks. I've used delicious.com for a few years in order to keep the bookmarks out of my browser. They just become unruly and I don't have access to them on another computer if they aren't stored online.
The bookmarks are categorized in many ways because I can use tags. Japanese sites are tagged "japanese" and "tea" and perhaps even "sencha", etc. There are, of course, "oolong" and "puerh" tags as well. If I see a specific item I like I will tag it, "houhin" or "tobuy". I almost never end up buying the stuff though, so I have a ton of bookmarks for individual products like "teatray" or "hagi" that are good for eye candy. I also bookmark useful tips, etc.
Woke up pretty early this morning in time for two tea sessions. First of which, miyabi, then original YM from o-c.

I just found this in "Topic Other"

Sabah Tea sees robust growth in tea, tourism

Anyways: When clicked on, I realized a need for a new folder called "Tea News" I only have three in it so-far.
( I'm looking for more.) Hint
My only rule is it needs to be in English or have a button to click that gives me an English version. Sorry, I was born ignorant.

Re: Monday TeaDay 11/8/10 Bookmarked and Fave'd?
I have 19 bookmarks at home and some more at work, there is some overlap between the two, but there are also some sites bookmarked at work that i dont have at home. No real organization at home, all except teachat are lumped into a folder titled "tea". Teachat is at the top of my favorites but not in a folder for quicker access because i use it most.

About 20 for now, not categories. Some tea blogs I like and favorite online vendors.
Re: Monday TeaDay 11/8/10 Bookmarked and Fave'd?
I would say a little less than 100, uncategorized, except for 5 of them which are on my main favorite bar (teachat, greenteaforum, ocha, ippodo, rikyucha).
I have many bookmarks on my computer 2000 (maybe even more). I don't keep them organized.

I have 144 separated in 3 categories:
38 Tea vendors
95 Teaware vendors
11 Blogs
Although most of the tea vendors also have teaware and vice versa, still i separate by primary focus.
Started the day with Darjeeling on the go, ended up having coffee with DH over breakfast and errands.

11 faves directly from my bookmarks toolbar--forums, a couple of blogs that I check out regularly, and links to a few of my own things; and 44 unsorted links in a subfolder elsewhere, particular articles, tricky to find vendor sites (e.g., english pages for asian sites), and other random stuff.

Re: Monday TeaDay 11/8/10 Bookmarked and Fave'd?
Mine are a bit out of control lately. I have a lot of folders for all different classes of tea related needs. Then I further add folders based on how much I like them. So I have 6 folders for Japanese greens. The top 5 folders have 5-10 vendors each. Then the 6th is all others. Folder 1 is the best of the best, etc.
I would hate to have to count, but well over 100, by a long shot.
Began the TD with YM Supreme from the O-C with the Mrs. And currently a tasting of an OTTI sencha as I weigh, weigh, weigh ...

I have them all memorized because I visit them everyday to drool over the teas on my wish list. really...Im serious.
The main one right now I visit often is teaspring because I didn't order any chinese greens this year. To say the least, I can't wait until this comming spring.
no tea yet today but Im sure something yancha is planned for tonight.
