Tea is a passion for me. Not only does it provide a nearly-spiritual time for meditation, but I spend a lot of time thinking about, looking at, and drinking it.

Although my tea knowledge may not run deep, I put it as a passion because as my friends and family will tell you- it's about all I can think about every day =D

Better late than never to the TD!
I would have to go with passion, though I am a bit in denial for whatever reason. But by definition, this is the one.
Great TD began with a tasting of Hachiju hachiya asamushi from Maiko served up in Noutomi Susumi kyusu and cups; next up Kame Jirushi Gyokuro from O-Cha served up in Choun gyo set; and finishing with Togei sencha served up in Deishi Kyusu and wan with the Mrs. Great teas all day.

Just one lovely long teaday with white bud sheng puerh.
And something of passion (for certain teas), hobby (the chatting, sharing, photography), and habit (tea for certain settings).

Somewhere between passion and hobby, if only because I am passionate about my hobbies.

All of the above.
It is my beverage...no matter what I'm eating, I make tea...and when I'm thirsty I just...make tea.
Habit...It's a habit because I make it without thinking when I'm bored, when I want to feel clean, when I get hungry and there is no food...I just do it.
Hobby: I love collecting them, studying them, finding ways to make the whole experience even better.
Passion: I just can't get enough of it. It's an art. What you make it in and how you make it, where it's from, what time of day all effects it. When I'm not drinking it or making it, I'm thinking about it. I drink it when I'm sad, when I'm happy, when I'm numb.

I consider it a hobby for me, although also a habit. I enjoy measuring, brewing, smelling the tea, and get that happy feeling when I take that first sip of a new cup of tea...I drink tea for the health benefits, the taste, to pick me up, and to relax me, and like to think about new teas that I want to try. I also find myself getting cranky at work when I don't have time for tea during the work day, and as soon as I get home I have to make tea.
