I'm not a luck kind of person. If I want something to go my way, I must work at it. Everything good that goes with it are the positive consequences of my own drive and determination.

Hmm. Well, maybe I should have counted on luck a little more, because researching didn't seem to help! But I never considered luck as having much to do with tea choices. Although I guess it was luck that I found something I liked the first time I tried hot tea again after years of thinking I didn't like it.

I've been lucky with some acquisitions over the years. I've lucked out finding old forgotten teas and tea ware in attics in old villages. I'm also lucky to have gotten into puer before the craze hit. I chose maybe, but maybe I should rethink that.
