It's been more than 40 years since I added anything to my tea.

More matcha this morning, following by Jing's seasonal DHP.

If you count tisanes, i added sugar to several herbal teas just two days ago, I almost always add sugar to my herbal teas. The only time sugar gets added to "true" teas is when i am drinking a flavored tea as it seems to help bring out the flavors.

Taiwan ruby tea from Norbu this morning.

Never have, never will. I drink my coffee/espresso without additives as well. If I want sugar, I'll drink a Coke.

2010 Shengpu from YS today. I'm not sure what's up next, but I've been craving the last of my 2003 7581 Shupu sample. Maybe I'll brew that up tonight.

Drank a glass (double-walled) of Black Dragon Pearl w/a pinch of Rose Congou in it this morning. It was very good! :) Full Rose Congou is sometimes a bit overwhelming in the morning, but I wanted a little of it today.

This afternoon, who knows? Maybe a white or a darjeeling.

In times drinking tea from supermarket-teabags I added sugar.
Nowadays just pure tea for its very own taste.
And I do not like iced tea.

2007 Xiaguan FT "Number 4" from YS in my cup. Just do not know how to rate it yet.

I like that one! Best of the FT stuff, IMO.

I think sometime in the last year I have added Lemon and honey to a tea while I was sick, and not sure the last time I added anything to Iced tea, but it may have been in the past year.

I do not add anything into my teas. Only exception is when only commercial black tea is available, then I add honey and milk, what results in a very simple but good taste, I recommend it to try everyone. And sometimes when I drink herbal teas before bed, I am adding honey to strong peppermint teas.

This morning premium sencha from hibiki, after lunch everyday Long Jing from jing tea shop and now raw pu erh again from jing.
and two beers after work with the colleagues, hehe.

My first tea purchases were green tea with citron (which I tired of quickly) and black tea with chocolate and mint - entry level drugs, as it were. Since then I have ordered two other flavored teas from Harney's, but have since moved on to fine Japanese and Chinese teas - although that chocolate tea was really good for my sweet tooth.

I never add additives to my tea anymore.. use to when I was tea naive. The only exception is when I'm sick then I'll add some honey and lemon to my tisane tea, but never with green or oolong tea. Sometimes I add sugar to iced tea too but I hardly ever drink my tea cold.

I rarely add anything to tea, but occasionally something I brew at work turns out so terribly that I add a splash of milk or sugar to make it edible. We don't get formal breaks, so if a customer comes in, I have to leave my tea until I'm finished. Has resulted in a few rough cups of cheaper black tea, but I'm usually so desperate to have tea, I don't even care what it tastes like as long as I can choke it down.

Just plugged in the Zojirushi for the evening... not sure what I'm going to brew yet!

Add stuff to tea? BLASPHEMY.....kidding! I have added dried rose buds to loose leaf keemun or gold tip yunnan. Mixing some chopped dried fruit or other dried flowers to certain black, green, and white teas have yielded some lovely drinking experiences.

Usually I enjoy my loose leaf stuff as is, while it's fresh. I may try an additive if I've been drinking something that I'm losing interest in (so I can finish it off to make room in the canister for something new), or entertaining guests who prefer flavored teas.

Today's teas:
Black tea dust flavored with bergamot oil in a tea bag, at a breakfast joint. Silver needle from 2010 spring, at home in the afternoon. I love all tea. Except when it's a fruity herbal one that is mostly tart hibiscus flowers and little else.

A little milk in black tea a few times a month.
Cheap, black teabags are pretty much part of the staple diet and a major component of hospitality here in Scotland . Very few people take it without milk because quite frankly it tastes awful.
