Today drinking the lovely 2010 Winter Lishan from Floating Leaves. I'm intoxicated by the buttery, flowery, sweet scent of the wet leaves.

Even with my previous post, I am not in a huge rush, as I can always spend time with Gyokuro.

Yes, counting down the days. I get tired of winter long before it tires of being here!

I'm not in a hurry for spring to arrive but I am counting the days until the new shincha offerings arrive (9-10 weeks).
Same breakfast teas today: matcha Kasumi followed seasonal DHP.

I am very much looking forward to more daylight and warmer weather, but for right now it is nice sitting by the fire enjoying a nice pot of tea.

Oh man, I am definitely counting down the days until spring... I'm so done with winter already. (Sadly, I go to school in upstate NY, so it probably won't even be warm by the time I go home for the summer.) I guess I'm counting down the days until new harvest teas as well, but I probably won't buy any; I do like to look at them online though!
Hibiscus tea this morning; rose sencha in my cup right now. Also, I went to Chinatown today and got some tea-related candy (matcha-adzuki candy and Assam-and-milk candy).

Thank you Adam for coloring our TeaDay!
Great TeaDay, however also the last of 2 more teas, really emptying a bunch of teas this past week. But this always means more new teas to open! TD began with the last of the Hebizuka sencha with the Mrs followed by the last of the Tsuru Jirushi Gyokuro ... And finally Yutaka Midori to finish the TD.
Why yezzz, I will have to fix that.brandon wrote:Say, Chip, I think you are leaving us hanging on a big story!

I'm looking forward to the new spring teas. I'm hoping the winter in China was not as harsh this year.
Re: Weekend TeaDays 1/15-16/11 Spring/new harvest countdown?
I actually like the winters here in California. So you could say I won't be looking forward to Spring, except for the new harvests teas, especially shincha.
