Too many fantastic teas, too little time to settle down and just pick one or two. It seems like every kind of tea I try, I'll eventually find an exemplary representative and think to myself, "Why do I drink any other kind of tea?" But then I try the next one, and answer my own question.

Besides, if I ever picked a favorite, all the other teas would be jealous and feel bad!

I've been sipping on some Diyi "Conrfields" Pu'er (shu) today at work. Nice and comforting for the weather (it's been rainy all day), but still fun! This stuff really does smell like corn husks, and the taste can't help reminding me of wheat crackers.. I didn't think I'd like it cold, but it's pretty much chilled now sitting at my desk, and really good in its own right just like this.

The things you discover when you forget you've got a cup of tea...

I don't think I'll ever settle on one or two teas! I have too many favorites.

Thai tea all day today, with copious amounts of iced green tea as well. Going to have some jasmine sencha as soon as the water heats up.

Japanese greens and oolongs for me!

I'm not excluding other tea types, and I enjoy the occasional puerh for sure, but I've found I like these the best and choose to focus on them. I'm thinking it will be more sencha and matcha in the warmer months and oolongs in the cooler months, but I like to mix it up. Oolongs are nice for my days off, as I have time throughout the day to brew them out properly.

I checked the 3 months option. I'm still somewhat in the sampling phase and would eventually like to try more whites, yellows and red teas. I think I'm starting to get settled into some favorites though. I already crave sencha during the day if I haven't had any, something I haven't experienced with other teas. There's just something about them that resonates with me. Oolongs are complex, wide ranging, and interesting to explore as well though.

2000 shu puerh after work tonight. Weekend off begins with '10 feng huang Honey Orchid dancong tomorrow. :D

Its my side quest in life to try as many teas as possible.
If I had to say one tea to settle on it would be Matcha but,...
that's really pinching me.

I will never be completely settled with one type of tea.

Yummy YM, from the O-C with Chip at our TeaTable this morning.

Shincha was present, but not in the form of tea. Ceylon and Wuulong also made appearances along with the Pyrit ... she is anxiously awaiting the arrival of new cat treats, she could not care less about tea! Newbie Rock just want some TLC.

Benifuki at work to help with the allergies, well, we shall see!

Have a SuperEnjoyable TeaDay everyone one.

Hurrah, the sun is out after a week of monsoon-like weather! 8)

Nice photo and hagi, Adam.

This post-thunderstorm afternoon, broke out the rou gui. Lovely sustained thunder rumblings outside. :)
