Sept, would be 2 cartons of PU. My first time getting such bulk. I was happy and excited. But that feeling only lasted 1/2 a day cause the day after I bought it, Clouds gave a 1.5 star....

oolong, tky. I just acquire my traveling teapot for tky. As the place I am right now tky is abundance.

I almost forgot to mention a sampling of 1970 liubao (extraordinary)... how I hope to get more of that...

My tea of the month for September was O-Cha's Sencha Otsuusan. I love the flavor of Karigane and this is the best I've tasted. I began my tea day with Oh-Cha's Gyokuro Tsuru Jirushu. Now I'm closer to the other end of the cost spectrum experimenting with Bai Mu Dan brewing advice from debunix.

Asatsuyu from Thés du Japon.

Average TGY to begin the day, and then some EoT's Mannuo.

I definitely drank more TGY oolong in September than any of my other teas.

Handmade Dong Ding oolong from EoT was my tea of the month.

Right now, Kyo no Tsuyu sencha from Maiko.

September was a crazy month for tea, lots of travel and limited tea access, lots of cool brewed tea while on the road, and new tea order from my main supplier, Norbu. The best tea experience of the month was from the first time I successfully brewed tea again in my not-quite-dead-yet Petr Novak shiboridashi. The excellent Gu Zhu Zi Sun was as lovely as the first time around, despite a slight leak.

Today, a wonderful session of Yuuki-cha Sayamakaori sencha, brewed in the kyusu from Petr. Mmmm.

Kaburagien's temomicha from Gifu Shirakawa was tea of the month again this month. A close second was The Mandarin's Wuyi dancong from Heaven's Heart Cliff.

Started the last few days with 2010 YM LE from O-Cha. Delicious.

Random oolongs (including some Dancong and a TGY) and sheng puerh for September. I lacked sencha funds :(. All better now!

Chiran sencha this morning, chamomile before bed tonight is the plan. Haven't had a nice cuppa chamomile in a while...

+1 to this, I have had a couple really good teas in September not sure which should claim top prize. I will say the one that surprised me the most was a Traditional Fired 1,200 m Dong Ding sample that was thrown in with my order from The Mandarins tea room. (Not currently listed on his site, do not know if he will list it in the future).

For using the words Traditional fired, it was not nearly as roasted as I expected it to be, and the roast profile while present, was minimal, but it was still incredibly buttery and fruity.
