I have a Den's sencha fuka-midori for my first tea this morning and what I am currently enjoying. I have enough leaf left to brew one more cup (with the addition steeps) before it is gone. Hopefully my Den's order will arrive tomorrow like it said it should.

Tea is my cure all. It may not have any specific healing properties, but it makes me feel better enough that the day can go on even when I am sick. Peppermint helps clear out my sinus congestion and lessen some headaches. Rooibos or Chamomile relax me enough to let me sleep. This winter, with constant tea drinking, I haven't gotten too sick yet. For me, that is incredibly impressive.

I'm drinking some grapefruit oolong again before I head to the library to cram for an exam tonight!

As someone else said, tea certainly has many health-promoting properties and over time it helps our immune system and other aspects of our health. I'm not sure about instantly curing any illness but simply enjoying a warm cup of tea might some sort of effect on our disposition and could alleviate a sore throat. :)

Right this second I am sipping on some spearmint tea. My son hid the package of teas I was going to bring with me, so all I have is my herbal sampler from Adagio :(

My jasmine tea is going to think I've betrayed it!

I am having Jasmine pearls right now. This afternoon I had matcha kaoru supreme from o-cha. It was my first matcha. I had been reluctant to order matcha because I thought it was too complicated to brew, but it is actually easy to obtain a decent looking result and it tasted good.

Had some Matcha just now, its been a very green day so far. The matcha was nice, nice fresh green taste with a marine backdrop, very delicious.

It's a good green day for me so far. The last of my Sayama Shincha 2007 to be exact. I'm going to miss this tea. I hope this years will be just as good.

And Happy Valentine's day.

Ok, this white mangosteen isn't as weak as I thought. There's a lot fo Valentine candy around the office today and it goes pretty well with it. I think I'll serve it to my Tea-at-Three-on-Thursdays ladies this afternoon an see what they think.

Lol what's up with the guri craze? I've been relatively unimpressed with what guri i've had.

I think it might be a sencha-head thing. I've heard the same thing from a few people who are concerned mostly with other teas. But the people who drink 90%+ sencha, they seem to love it. I actually place it above regular-steamed sencha on my preference list.
This cup I'm drinking now is butter, creamy and smooth, with a sweetness that fills my mouth and lasts as an aftertaste. There is also a dimension I describe now as being a pleasant vegetal-tartness, zest, or tang.
In short: MmmmmMMMmmMMMmmmm...

Hm that seems a bit odd to me. Normally if I want something smooth and buttery in a green i'll go with something Chinese. But if I drink sencha i'm looking for something crisp and sharp. I like the tang and cleanliness of the stuff. If i'm looking for sweet I go for some gyo.

I'm drinking secret gunpowder green tea today.

On a side note, I went to Starbucks with a friend last night, and it was about 3 weeks since the last time I went there. I tried the iced green tea coffee they have, and it was so outrageously super sweet I wanted to throw it away. I didn't though, because my friend bought it for me.
