Tomorrow I plan to try my first oolong!

Exciting! Let us know how it goes. Which one?

Not sure yet. I purchased 2 oolong samples from adagio: grapefruit oolong and jasmine oolong. Decisions, decisions...!

I often drink tea whilst writing. I drink and write prolifically, so it's a good combination. Also, every afternoon after work/uni, my girlfriend and I brew a pot or 2 and do the crosswords in the paper

Yes, it is after 12am and "technically" a new teaday, but I have not gone to bed yet, therefore it is still Wednesday to me! Anyway, I have just brewed a pot of ITOEN daily sencha in my Hagi Kyusu and the first cup is great!

I almost dumped the 3 gr of tea out of the little gaiwan and into the trash, but the 4th infusion was pretty good, much better than the third and I went on for a total of eight or nine very nice infusions after the initial 3 that I didn't care for. The nice infusions tasted cocoa-like and malty.

I can't stand puerh in a gaiwan, the yixing takes that bite off the first few infusions it seems. anyone else have that experience?

As this edition of TeaDay is drawing to a close, I have to wonder if the move to its new better location has caused a few of our TeaChatters to get lost...hopefully they will find us tomorrow.

Dang it, if I only have 2 teas tomorrow, I might go crazy. 4 or bust.
