Today was a fair teaday for I.
Began with a hefty two bowls of tamaryokucha. Followed by... Kabusecha? Then got to my houde order and had a gongfu session of a 2000 Yiwu. Followed eventually by some more Kabusecha.
Now I've got "The Art of Tea" magazine staring me down...
This teaday is not yet over...

I had some kukicha and some shin-ryoku sencha, both from Den's. I also had some TGY from Rishi, then my favorite TGY from Just4tea.
I also tried to drink tea like normal Americans. I put some tap water in a mug, and microwaved it for two minutes and tossed in one of the teabags I got from Mighty Leaf, steeping it till the tea was a "good color."
OMG, HOW DO PEOPLE DRINK THAT? It's no wonder tea isn't more popular.

I looked in my fridge and there wasn't any sencha premium. So I have just ordered one package to be able to test your brewing parameters. Next week-end, if the post is not too slow.Chip wrote: Yes, I have noted our differing styles a long time ago. I tend to use less leaf than you for longer times. I get 5 steeps this way...any more and I might get bored. The Sencha Premium appears to be asamushi and thus is very tolerable to using more leaf...so, you will likely enjoy more leaf. Yet, I would be curious of your reaction to trying my parameters.
