Still on coffee this morning. Did not sleep well last night - it was obviously a night for sick animals, Teasweetie, my cat was ill. But for good news, it's finally election day here which means the really annoying phone calls can finally stop (3 today already, though.)
Oh no!! Sorry to hear about your cat being ill. I hope she gets better.

Didn't realize til this question but I have 7 teapots ranging from 1.5 cups to 6 cups. Teapot I use depends on how much tea I'm making & what mood I'm in. I have a poinsettia teaset that we use during Cmas.
Today's tea was vanilla mint. May have to end the day w/it, too.

I chose 7-10.....Lets go through the list:
1 Hagi Kyusu (210ml) (Japanese Greens)
1 Tokonome Kyusu (210ml) (Chinese Greens)
1 Yixing Zisha (250ml) (Pu-Erh W/Company Over)
1 Yixing Zisha (120ml) (Pu-Erh for Personal Sessions)
1 Yixing Gaiwan (120ml) (White Teas/Travel/Testing New Teas)
1 Blue Stoneware Generic Pot (360ml) (Microwave H2O if necessary)
1 White Stoneware Generic Pot (360ml) (Microwave H2O if necessary)
1 "Primula" Glass Mug W/Glass Infuser (450ml) (Blooming Teas)
*The only thing I have had all day is Wu's 2006 Reserve Ripe Pu-Erh.....certainly cheap enough, and good "enough" to be a daily drinker for me!

5 steeps of Dan Cong with no end in sight...I have to decide now if I want a 3rd tea today.
Yikes. The pot count. This is a long story for another day. And there is a story behind this. I don't just go out and buy Teapots like a mad man. I just counted 84 pots, of which around 10 I use depending on the tea.

I have that set. The gaiwan is pretty decent, but the cups are worthless, IMO; they are way too small (less than 1oz) to be convenient. Plus, I usually like the 1 or 2oz cups, so this is saying something, heh.

Today I had a round (4 steeps) of some fukamushicha supreme; still playing around with different brewing parameters. Followed by some yancha from Rishi. What should be next...

Got started a bit late today. Had some Adagio #18 (thanks again xine!), then some old Shui Jin Gui I had sitting around. Good stuff!
