Many hours later, still drinking Sal's Dan Cong. By now, it is still fruity, perhaps better than many hours before. Tea is crazy.

Thank you, unfortunetely the new from the vet was bad. As in, she'll probably die on Thursday sort of bad. So, I'm not in the best place. I've had this cat since she was, quite literally, two hours old. I'm the only mother she's ever had, and she it my baby. Heck, I've loved her for longer then I have my children or my husband. So I'm not taking the news particularly well. As in, "my tea for the rest of the day was vodka" sort of not well. So this post may be the slightest bit incoherent. But if anyone has any random good thoughts sitting around, I'll take them. Cause I certainly wouldn't object to a "We were wrong, she's fine. Take her home and have another great 10 years."
Yeah, that would be good.

I'm sorry osadczuk, it sounds like you're really hurting. I don't blame you either-- losing a pet isn't easy at all, especially when it has been such a significant part of your life. Still, it sounds like you provided her with a lifetime of love and affection; at the very least, you can rest assured that she had a great life.

OK, I was starting to feel rather ostentatious at having over 25 brewing vessels (I think it's around 30). But Chip, you made me feel SO much better! So much so that I just may have to go buy another one to celebrate.
It's so hard for me to pass up a pretty china teapot. This weekend, I even ordered my first gaiwan!

Oh dotK!! You did get the gaiwan you showed me? I'd like to see more pics of that one.
I just ordered some cool new Bodum cups. I have some control when it comes to tea pots, but I'm admittedly out of control with cups!
osadczuk, I'm so sorry, I totally understand.
I lost my Kess in July of last year, it was very difficult.
Hugs to you, hang in there.

Osadczuk -- I'm so sorry to hear about your cat. I lost my baby girl--my puppy for almost 13 years--this past December.
Hurting for you

1 Iced Tea ingenuitea
2 clay tea pots
1 working white tea pot
2 travel tea brewers/cups
1 broken clay pot that I am too partial to that I can't throw out (but didn't count)
So, that'd be 6.
