I generally don't eat while enjoying my tea. I may nibble if I am hungry, but I would prefer to drink something else with food and drink the tea after the food or without food. Chocolate and tea do go together well though.
Today, I continued on my Green Tea weekend with more Fuka-Midori. It was tasty enough this afternoon through 4 steeps that I decided to have more of it tonight. Currently, I am on the second steep of the second round. I will probably have two more steeps of it before switching to another tea. I learned that a little bit more leaf adds a fuller, more pleasant flavor. The first couple of times that I tried the tea, the flavor was not strong enough, but with more leaf it tastes so much better.
Victoria, your new cup is lovely. It is making me want to get a nice glass cup of my own so I can enjoy the colors of the tea.
Augie, that may not be tea, but it looks delicious!

When I normally eat regular meal I will have water other than at a Japanese or Chinese restaurant, so other than that, when I am drinking tea, that is all I am doing. There might be an occasional time where I will have a piece of wheat toast or something along those lines with a late night cup of tea, but never anything substantial.
