The last month I've had Rooibos every day, hot and on ice.

~ Today I had a big glass of cold Rooibos with vanilla and honey and a cup of green. Tonight after boxing and my 3 mile run I'll have a hot cup of Rooibos.

I love Rooibos. I don't like it plain, but it is one of my favorite hot beverages when it is flavored or mixed with herbs. I've tried two different versions of vanilla, Adagio's Foxtrot, mango, chocolate, blueberry, Hawaiian Colada, and Provence as well as a couple from Dragonwater that were terrible. I still have an Orange, Lemon, and Le Marche Spice Rooibos from Enjoying Tea left to try. Adagio's Vanilla Rooibos is definitely one of my favorite ways to end the day. The main reasons I enjoy Rooibos is that it calms me down and helps me to fall asleep.

This morning I am having some Kyoto Cherry Rose Sencha again.

Iced Roooibos? I have never thought about icing it down. hmmmm

How many here ice their rooibos? I'm not wild about all the floaties either, don't want them mixed with cubes. :-P

Morning all. It is still morning and I am recovering from the Sci-Fi con. Breakfast is chocolate tea and a crumpet smothered in butter and huckleberry honey. Yum!

I feel about rooibos the same way I do yerba mate, it tastes good enough, but it just doesn't excite me.

Right now I'm drinking some fukamushicha, waiting for the UPS guy to bring me my teapot and TGY.

i have it before bed every night. i like to drink something hot at night and tea is not a good idea before bed. i want to try green rooibos and loose honeybush. i liked the bagged honeybush i got so loose shouldbe even better

no tea for me yet but i did drink a bottle of mint yerba mate

I see there are a lot of Rooibus drinkers out there. The red leaf is inviting, so why haven't I at least tried it yet. No really good reason. I should at least try it.

I opened one of few remaining 2007 Japanese teas in my TeaFridge, Fukamushi Superior. This selection was the very first tea that I tried direct from Japan and loved it right away...and a great price.

Now a few years later, I still try to have a bag in reserve or open. It is a great everyday sencha, packed with a lot of flavor, though not as smooth, refined, or even as higher grades, but it is still first flush and a steal at around 10 bucks.

Rooibos is my tea of choice. Tropica, Jasmine and Vanilla are my favorites in flavored rooibos. I think I drink more Tropica than any other tea. Part of the appeal is that it is a mix of green and red rooibos, which has such a smooth flavor.

I'm just finishing a cup of Rooibos Tropica right now. This makes a delicious iced tea when brewed at double strength. I can't comment on cold brewing techniques, but my instinct has been to make this as strong hot tea and let it cool.

Rooibos is very fine textured, so using an ultra fine mesh strainer/infuser is recommended.

Still a little ill but it goes always better with some good teas.

Glad to hear you are on the mend. 6 teas will not hurt either. I have been around so many really sick people lately, I cannot believe I have not been nailed. I give some credit to green tea. :wink:

Tea 2...Keep in mind, I virtually never drink or enjoy a flavored tea. Having said that, Den's Sakura Sencha, really rocks. I have to say, I really enjoyed this. It really captures the essence of a traditional Sakura...taking me to Japan with each sip.
