My Shincha is not here either!! What's a girl to do??

Ah yes, brew OOLONG. I had some nice TKY this afternoon, and in the mail today came my first ever Korean Oolong, I'm quite excited to try it, but it must wait till tomorrow.

Only if you ask nicely.

That sounds like an excellent idea. Calling in sick and awaiting Sal's surprise.
Maybe I'll join you! Pass the oolong.

In my best Yankee accent...it is my pleasure, ma'm! *tips hat*

Actually, I have a Baltimore/PA dutch accent...whatever that is. I thought everyone pronounced water like wooder.

Just finished 5 steeps of this Yame gyokuro. I went with the more Japanese brewing method for super premium gyo. A lot of leaf, 6 grams/3-4 ounces of water(wooder) at crazy low temp of 50* C.

This is pretty mind blowing actually!

I had lots and lots of iced tea at work today. It was very weak; I've had rinses with more depth and flavor than what passes for tea in Texas.

Tonight I had some Okayti Darjeeling Oolong: http://anotherteablog.blogspot.com/2008 ... olong.html

Nice review, that sounds like a good one.
I'm partial to darjeelings, but not so much towards Mighty Leaf.

I have a special surprise planned for tomorrow, henley. Special just for you and augie. Tune in then.
 Oh, dear. I'm hoping you're expecting a Fex Ex box with a new tea pot. We couldn't do without you, Salsero, if you were booted from teachat for indecent exposure . . . or maybe you'd get a year's supply of free tea from Adagio as a thank you gift? Either way, the suspense is killing me! Charge that fancy camera, get out the pruning shears, and brew up something special for us. :D
