Vanilla Hazelnut Dessert Tea by Celestial Seasonings. {shudder} I agree with the reviewer on Amazon.com who said, simply, "Yuck."
I know there are people out there who like it, but what I'd like to know is why???

It is a hard choice between herbal, flavored, roiboos and decafs. I am pretty clear I dislike them all.
Having a nice cup of Pouchong from Adagio and trying to organize my shincha in tins and labels. There is one more inbound, but then I am done.
Have a great TeaDay!

Salsero -- your photos get more and more professional-looking every day. It won't be long before you're getting calls from tea sites!
Anyway, I can't think of the ONE worst tea I've tried... I've had a really nasty pu-erh or two (even though my favorites are pu-erhs), some undrinkable flavored black teabags (eggnog flavor?), and some cough-syrupy herbal teas. I think I've pushed them out of my memory for the most part, though, so can't even rightly vote.

That's what you're drinking now... not the worst tea you've ever had, I hope?

I've tasted something awful in pretty much every category (can't accuse me of not trying things
), but the worst had to be some nasty pu-erh. You who love pu-erh are amazing people!
A close 2nd was a Vanilla Carmel-something from Stash (in bags) I'd picked up at the grocery store a few years ago. At the time, it had to have been the worst thing I'd ever put in my mouth. So I emailed Stash, they sent a nice letter and coupons for a couple of free boxes of any Stash teas along with a half dozen bags of 2 other teas I already liked. Hard to beat that kind of customer service.
This morning so far I've enjoyed Adagio's TGY and now Ooooh Darjeeling.

worst tea i have tasted has to be this cherry flavored black tea. my aunt picked it up in chinatown and it was undrinkable. i've also had some really terrible bagged greens from there but i guess there is a learning curve. it at least helps me to understand why some people think tea is gross. when you get the cheapest of the cheap it's gonna not be good
just woke up and i'm having my usual powdered sencha
lately this stuff somehow makes me forget i haven't eaten breakfast

The worst teas that I have ever tasted were the Mango Papaya Green Rooibos and Strawberry Peach Green Honeybush from Dragonwater. They smelled like overly potent sweet-tart candies in the mug. I couldn't even drink the tea because they smelled so disgusting. Close to those two is the Tazo Red Bush tea bag. I actually enjoy flavored Rooiboses, especially as a night time treat, but those ones were really bad.
No tea yet today. I am still debating on what will do best to clear my sinuses after the campus ground crew was mowing outside my dorm.

I was between voting for black or oolong. Black tea to me just tastes like weak coffee.
However, the worst tea I ever had was grapefruit oolong (sorry to you oolong fans!!
). Fortunately, I was able to give it away in a teaswap to someone who *actually* enjoys it.
This morning, I enjoyed a nice cup of Emerald Petals. I think the name of the tea might just make me enjoy it all the moreso!

The worst tea that I've had was a certain herbal blend. I forget the name of it (because I really didn't want to remember it), but it had 7 or 8 different flowers in it. It just didn't sit well with me.
A close second is a couple of oolong samples I received from a company. I am not a huge fan of oolongs. I love black and I love green... but not oolong for whatever reason. However, my liking, or lack there of, had nothing to do with my extreme dislike of these certain two oolongs.
No tea at the moment (I am enjoying my lunch from Taco Bell)... but I'm sure the next fruit flavored blend that is on the list will be in my cup shortly.
