It's Saturday morning--time for June Cleaver to report for duty. This has been a busy week at my house & decided to treat family to a pretty bfast. In the pot is oolong #8.

I love tea but am happy that it is beneficial. Makes each cup even sweeter, but would drink it no matter what.
Yunnan Gold in the first cup of the day and now searching for something green and possibly Japanese...
Happy TeaDay all!
Nice to see you back where you belong Cyn...
Your journey has been fruitful if you are looking for something Japanese!
I drink tea because I love tea, but love the potential health benifits...the caffeine is a nice bonus.

I love tea, and love the potential health benefits, in that order (tea first!).
However, I first started drinking tea daily 5 years ago because as I have shared before, I read in my grandfather's AARP that drinking tea may help bones heal, and I had a broken bone at the time.
This morning, exquisite Assam Meleng Estate, FTGFOP (Far Too Good For Ordinary People)

I love tea, and if it happens to be good for me too, even better. I also can't have coffee, but the caffeine in tea wasn't a deciding factor for my consumption of it.
This morning, I have a mug of Adagio's Irish Breakfast. It is absolutely lovely. I've been looking for a good black tea for mornings and I think I've finally found one that I can enjoy.

This morning, I enjoyed a lovely mug of magnolia oolong, curteousy of one very thoughtful Oolong Queen.
It was like having springtime in a mug!
Can I transfer the wet tea leaves from my tea pot into a gaiwan now, or is it too late since the leaves already steeped for 3 minutes?
Why do I drink tea? I started my tea journey for health reasons. Now I drink it also because I love it!

I just love it, period.
Started the morning with FLT Black Spiral. Now I have moved on into oolong. I do like blacks in the morning but when a have an oolong soon after a black, wow, the appreciation for the difference in taste is amazing.
Have a nice day eveyone!
PS: Henley put on another pot, I'm on the way too!
Happy Birthday InsantyLater!!

Looks like this is a Ceylon day for a few of us here...enjoying my first pot of Ceylon Sonata myself. It's not bad and makes a nice, mild cup. It's the type of tea where 99% of the population thinks "this is what tea should taste like"...which isn't a bad thing, I guess. I'd bet it'd be great iced with plenty of sugar.
Enjoy the 21st, IL. Please be careful...

No, June said Ward didn't like Shincha; that he's more of a POM OOLONG man.
