That's actually Chip's new method of brewing tea. He just kinda drools into his teapot while flipping through some catalogs. Then when he realizes he's broke he drinks his drooltea.
Ok, THAT is hysterical!

Holy crap, teapot envy! I've drooled over that one enough to dehydrate. Out of my fear range though (fear that I'll break it being less proportionate than the price I paid. )

Try to catch your drool in a brewing vessel so you can have a TeaDate with Chip.

Thanks. I'll send you the hundreds of shots I took before getting an even remotely passable one (just kidding). For some reason, it's a difficult pot for me to shoot. You've always made it look so easy!

Who are you, and what have you done with Victoria!
Ok, true confession time.

I brewed my 15 oz cup, then I took the leaves, put them in the gaiwan, and finished up with a few sessions that way. Ha! Best of both worlds.
Baby steps for me, baby steps.
:)

Teaware that I own in order of preference: porcelain, glass, ceramic. No yixing yet. I'm waiting for that new job and new apartment. I hope to get a yixing pot upon moving, season it, then use it at the housewarming party. I can't wait to finally live in a place that has a real bedroom separate from the living room!

My nervous energy about work and apartment hunting probably isn't helped by drinking the teas I usually like, oolongs. Breakfast included a soy matcha shake. Maybe Wen Shan Baozhong with lunch.
