Funny you should ask... I'm just about to consume a pot which I've had brewing overnight. I use 9g of Uji no Tsuyu gold label sencha and fill my pot with about 25 good sized soft water ice cubes and leave it to slow brew for about 11 hours. Probably my favourite way to start the day, accompanied by a bowl of porridge.

Have a good day everyone! :D

p.s Is there a thread anywhere on the forum that says how to post photos, I am also having trouble

You have to use a picture hosting site (flicker, photobucket or other).
Then you use the syntax

Driniking some so-called Russian Tea. Very honeylike, like it. Later on I will finish the last of my 16 year old shu. Will miss it, though honestly I don't feel much difference between the 1992 and 1997...

Yesterday I brought my gaiwan to work together with a stopwatch. As soon as I had some spare time I made tea. My "Ti Kuan Yin Superior" actually gave me 13 very good infusions  The later infusions were all about 5 minutes each and the little darling gaiwan was filled with leaves. Made work SO much funnier :)

(And gave my colleagues a good laugh)

First time just last week, actually! Added ice to my kyusu with some first flush sencha. Mmmm, so smooth and sweet. The only problem was the waiting. :(

Yunnan Gold this morning. It is rainy and dark this morning. I like it! The Yunnan goes well.

Have a happy TeaDay, everyone!

Oh and not as dramatic but pretty:

Is this a case of multiple personality disorder??? Or maybe that old Star Trek episode with the mirror-image guys?

Waiting for Golden Monkey to steep. I really like the aroma, though I'm not sure I can taste any chocolate in it.

I cold brew most of my iced teas and some of my iced tisanes (some herbs won't give up their best flavor to cold water).

Today being cool and rainy, is a hot TeaDay for me. I'm enjoying Gifu Sencha from ItoEn, a sweet and delicate tea.
Brewing joy, happiness and green tea, like any good TeaWitch should!

I have tried cold brewing but it was many years ago. I really don't drink a lot of iced tea.

This morning I am drinking my first pot of Irish Breakfast from a shipment from Harney and Sons. It is very full and flavorful. Yum.
