Not my teaware, but I thought I'd share some photos from a tea shop I frequent. On this particular day I went with a basic Korean green (that I cannot remember the name of at this point).

Wowza TO. These are all outstanding and full of Korean "flavour." This Hong Seong Il "signature glaze" is outstanding. I really want to procure at least one of his pots and coordinated cups.

I read through his thread on Teachat and looked at the blog - thanks for the pointers. I just managed not to buy the teapot on etsy. I'd love a pot and cup set so I'll wait.

Here's another interesting piece of teaware by Hong Seong il. A water cooler or faircup of about 200ml. As an added bonus, the bottom is fully glazed, fired on seashells, slightly concave, and, allowing the very edges of the bottom to act as the foot.

This is the 1st cooler I've had with a handle and it really comes in handy when making larger quantities of very hot tea acting as a faircup. Pours beautifully.

Beautiful faircup, maybe the nicest I have seen.
