That is a beauty David!
These are really low and relatively wide, what are Adam and David using these for?

Great work IPT - a stunning tool holder.
Nice collection rabbit - how is this crackleware pot? I've seen one like this on the internet and I really need more cups

Do you mean crackleware 'cup'? If so, I love it so much! It's my favorite cup, delicate, perfectly shaped, just the right size, beautiful color. I enjoy my tea even more when it's in this cup =)Marco wrote:Great work IPT - a stunning tool holder.

Roasted wulongs. I like the way a dark tea is colouring the cup, reminding me of an animal fur. This looks indeed very much inspired by the Hare's fur style used in traditional chinese ceramics.Chip wrote:These are really low and relatively wide, what are Adam and David using these for?

Yeah, I was also considering using them as a larger type of cup for Chinese Tea, probably an oolong, more than likely a roasted oolong.David R. wrote:Roasted wulongs.Chip wrote:These are really low and relatively wide, what are Adam and David using these for?
David, that cup is quite nice also. The artist certainly produces some eye catching pieces, and the oilspot effect is stunning.

Wow!!! Wonderful acquisitions everyone!
I usually come in late to the conversation, since I am usually by Chip's side evenings when these beauties are posted and Chip is thanking everyone and sharing his thoughts. I get to do this at work when I get a spare moment, since I don't get the chance at home!

It is so wonderful to see what beautiful things are wrought in the service of tea. Bamboo and porcelain, sandy coarse clays and delicate translucent glazes, brilliant woods and handworked metals.
I have a couple of Hagi awaiting their moment in the sun, or rather, the slightly indirect rays of same.....slacking here.....
