Yay - you survived the r t h! Isn't it gorgeous?
Did you happen to do the hike up to the falls at 7 sacred pools? That is one of the most gorgeous hikes on earth.
Cheers.

Why yes I did as a matter of fact. The water level was low in the pools though. But the vegetation was lush and amazing.

Oh that is so beautiful Victoria and looks so warm. The tree in the first picture looks like some kind of old banyan tree with the aerial roots.

Victoria,
I would HIGHLY recommend that you buy the guidebook "Maui Revealed." It led me to locations such as this blowhole on the upper left quadrant of the island.

Thanks Dreamer! Although I drove to Mt Haleakala yesterday and had the cup with me and forgot to photograph it there. Bummer. But it is a well traveled Hagi!

I've been documenting some of the changes my pieces have undergone, and I must say, the Sansai Tebineri is by far the most dynamic, as today I saw it crying.

These are dried spots and I've noticed them a few times before when using this cup but always thought it was some sort of residual tea stain. But I remember looking all over this cup as I was drinking water out of it and noticing it was clean... Then using it as a water cooler I looked at it, and there were marks like this all over the cup, I wiped some off, only to see little tea droplets appear from where the marks were.

Woh Adam, interesting. Haven't noticed this with mine, but I haven't used it a lot. I'll be on the lookout for similar behavior.

Very interesting development indeed. Hagi never ceases to amaze and stupify ... and these are certainly putting on a show.

So, Adam, is this a leaker?

Yes it turns out this is a leaker, which is amazing as I never thought a glaze this thick would leak, but it leaks all over, it leaks worse than my  Biwa
