Re: Today's Matcha :D (new name, but tea's the same)
Yessss - iannon - so very nice!
Wanna share your matcha info?
I love your chashaku! Where, might I ask, did you find
such a nice scoop?
Reminds me, I've been looking for an all wood one (I know yours is bamboo, but so "shuweet") with bark handle that shows off the grain in the scoop and the bark on the handle. I've only ever seen a pic of one like this (on the old, and now gone , White Crane Tea website).
Inquired with Toru-san of Artistic Nippon, and he couldn't find one.

Thank you John, your advices sound really sensitive. My oven is an electrical archeology piece from the Roman Empire era. I wonder how I could emulate the 'clean' thing...JBaymore wrote: ...and then set it to "clean" without removing the bowl at all. That likely would be the best overall strategy.

If the oven does not have a "self-clean" setting.... then just try setting it as hot as it goes...... and extend the "baking time". Might not work as well.... but likely it WILL work.Jayaratna wrote:Thank you John, your advices sound really sensitive. My oven is an electrical archeology piece from the Roman Empire era.
