I enjoy drinking matcha almost every day. Usually I drink usucha (thin) matcha but today I tried for the first time a thick koicha. As you can see I'm a newbie and I'll have to exercise this koicha
Tastewise this koicha Manten was quite good: full-bodied and yet almost no bitterness or sharp taste. Last but not least the 'injection' of this pure green energy made me feel very, very good.
When I bought this chawan (64 euro) the shopkeeper told me it was hand-made. After drooling over this and other websites' beautiful photos I discovered that my 'unique' chawan has many brothers and sisters
Anyhow, its weight, size and colour is very appealing so I don't really mind
