Tea Pairing: A lot of options for this one, I need to do some testing once I get back home.
Info: I found this in the attic, and the spout is incredibly messed up. Half of the spout is missing (length-wise). Is there any way to fix this? Somehow wrap some tin or silver or whatever around it? Suggestions?
When you say it's "so small" what size so you mean? Compare to that cup it looks pretty huge to mefuturebird wrote:This is a mass produced pot from ebay. But, I'm happy with it. $28 was very reasonable and it's so small. It much easter to use teas economically now that I have a little pot.
Question: What kind of clay is this? I know it isn't "real" -- but what improvements would I see from getting a real pot? I looked at some handmade pots at a local store. The clay seemed more porous, there was something more "earthy" and less plastic about them that appealed to me.
and compared to the book and other cup. what's the size in mL?Exempt wrote: When you say it's "so small" what size so you mean? Compare to that cup it looks pretty huge to me
Interesting... The small cup is to check the color of the brew?futurebird wrote:It's 120ml the cup is not for drinking it's to check the color of the liquor. my drinking cup (the brown cup to the right, just off camera) is the same size as the pot.
Yes. The cup I like is not white and not transparent. So a small white cup is very handy. This is what my housemate would do when making me tea I thought it was nornal.TIM wrote:Interesting...
