Welcome to the Club! edkrueger and I each have a 60ml version of this teapot. Works wonders with Gaoshan. Here is mine in use:

The reason why I got mine was because I saw your ba le and knew I had to have one like that  It works just great with gaoshan
The other one seems to be of a more porious clay, moothening down those high fire flavours and improving mouthfeel. According to Silentchaos, it'll change a lot over the next few months.

The one to the right was your pot in unused condition. The one to the left was my personal pot after 1 month of feeding on sheng. The exterior of both pots were wiped clean before the picture was taken (i.e. no tea stains).

These are two of my yixing teapots:

(used for lighter Oolongs)

and

for Sheng Pu-Erh

Both work fine with the teas I use them for.

Looks like a typical Chuanbu Hongni product of later Factory-1(8~90s), must be wonderful with Gaoshan as the main importer was Gaoshan drinkers (Taiwan) during those days. :)

These pots are praised with awesome firing, a huge heavy oil kiln..around 1150~80c..not re-operatable for budget and quantity problem these days.

I'd say qing shui ni, but that's just my guess comparing it to my two zini pots :D

It isn't the first rodeo for the pot in the centre, it was featured awhile back in this thread by another teachatter.

It is nian gao tu, named because the colour is that of the chinese rice cakes.

My rather humble yixing family. Starting from back left is 150ml xishi from Sunsing HK ($50), 150ml with carved words from Chintown ($10), 70ml xishi from Jing ($100) and than my newest 100ml also from Chintown ($10). My favorite is the xishi from Jing because i think its well made but its just a tiny bit too small for me. I prefer 100ml so i like my newest piece even though its not as nice as one from Jing's. I want to buy a 100ml shuiping of nicer quality next possibly from Jing or sampletea.

This is my first attempt at uploading. I am using a link to my flckr account. Hope this works :?:

Here is my humble collection. I could use help with any info anyone has on my newest addition: the double walled pot. I was told it is from the 1920's to the 1930's range.
