It's of those 2000s~ old Yixing pieces imitation. I don't think it's a slip-cast, looks like a mould-used one.Pazuzu wrote:Hope that you can help me to get some hints on this teapot. Info: I can feel a little dimple inside where the handle ends, but can´t see anything. The Water Seal is not so good. The sound is metallic but very short and low pitch.

commemorative pots of chinese tea house, singapore. was commissioned and made under the supervision of artisan Xu Sihai in '89, and publicly made available for purchase in '92. 100 pieces of each clay type were made. Ru-ding design, top notch old clay, fantastic firing. the zhuni version was first to sell out, the pear skin zini was the most iconic, made from a blend of zhuni, zini and then coarse duan-ni as particles to give the pear texture, high fired. definitely pots that i will enjoy the usage of, for many years to come.
