I love the robins egg blue flambe glaze you created this glaze? I like its fatty look and how it runs.

Teabud, nice pots you have. Here in Thailand, there are many fine polished teapots for sale. King Rama V during the Qing and early ROC period, collected these and many of the rich families followed suit. Now, many are for sale because the Thais don't drink much tea and they are not fashionable. This is good luck for the collectors and dealers who come here to buy.

Thanks debunix and Seeker! It holds about 4oz and is really sweeeet!! It was a one of a kind someone was selling on Etsy. It was just fate; I stumbled upon it!! The seller admitted she was reluctant to let it go. I reassured her it was going to a good home!

spittingoutteeth - very nice houhin set, congrats! Happy Valentine's day to you!

Thanks for sharing these special teawares Teabud, Woozl, Victoria, and spittingoutteeth, and the hearth Woozl. You need a tetsubin and/or some other water heating devices now!

spittingoutteeth, looking at your houjin, cup ... I am curious. Any more info you can share with us?!? Heh, almost looks like a Tokoname or Banko with a thick Hagi white glaze with crawl. Quite different. I never saw this set before.

Chip, the set was made by an artist named Petr Novák from the Czech Republic. He posts a lot on various tea blogs (possibly here as well) so many of you may know who he is. I'm just starting to get into teaware and fell in love with this set because of the very organic and unique appearance. It kind of reminds me of the work of one of my favorite artists, Anselm Kiefer.

Petr's website is here:

Some amazing pieces; I definitely hope to acquire more soon.
