its only a cheapish pot from O-Cha, but I'm very pleased with it. It pours really well and is so much easier to use than my little glass teapot.
Looks great El Gringo!
Sweet..very classy looking. I like the contrast of top to bottom halves

Thanks, I'm very happy with it, especially since it was pretty cheap really (compared to a lot of the pots I've been looking at!).

wOOt, teaware and accessory post #33,333!

Heh, we do not discriminate based upon handle position here! Kyusu loosely translated means teapot, so many pots would also fit in here. Looks really nice MarshalN.

Great new kyusu-s el gringo, exquisite, Justin, Ian, and Sebpassion!!!

Oooh, I'd been eyeing that one for a while. How's it brewing for you?

Quite nicely on its first runs tonight. im happy to have it. Probably not a sencha pot for me as you can see i have some SX in there..the hand made holes will work well with that type of teas more so than any Fuka anyway

Gorgeous!

(wiping drool from keyboard, trying not to contemplate potential nonaccidental trauma to my present "spare" kyusu, to justify the purchase of another....)

My first kyusu and houhin arrived today from Yuuki-Cha. It took 8 days from the time I placed the order to arrive via Airmail here in Virginia. Not bad! As I posted in the Introductions forum, I was concerned that they may get damaged, but they were very well padded in a big box of newspaper and bubble wrap. Each was in a seperate, smaller box.

They may be the start of a kyusu collecting obsession that my wife may get annoyed with ;)
