Thanks Alex, the cup is a cheat. I have not washed this Kyusu yet, the morning brew was Nannuo from a gaiwan. Sorry for misleading you.

That is definitely a candidate for a #1 grip!

Nice new ... er old (I am guessing) piece, Brandon. I do not think I ever saw that creature on a kyusu. Great score!

Gorgeous piece!

I'm so pleased with the Siggy pot by Tachi Masaki.

The shape, feel and tea from it is just wonderful. Its become my main Sencha pot now and has even temporarily stopped me teaware shopping  . The clay sort of reminds me a little of Hokujo clays. With the way the little orange specks gather on the inside of the bottom of the pot.

Here's a few of my own shots from today.

Beautiful Kyusu, Alex and Blair. Hope they serve you well for many years and bring as much enjoyment to the cup as to the eyes!

It really is good for the budget that I have been using all of my kyusus quite frequently in the last few weeks--it's like being immunized against the incredible pull of these lovely pots, which are so very seductive with their whispered promises of "better! richer! fuller!" sencha sessions....
