Yes I am loving the pot. Its pure enjoyment with every use and dare I say I agree it does feel 100% right in every way. If I was Hojo I'd be asking Tachi Masaki to make a load more. I'd imagine they'd sell like hot cakes.

Its funny you mentioned colour. I felt like I just couldn't get a half decent picture of the colour. Either too washed out or in some of mine too dark.

I love the screen on this pot as well. I've got some very broken up Fuka at the moment and its letting just the perfect amount of particles into the cup and draining completely.

Can't see myself buying another pot for a while.

P.S blairswhitaker did your pot ship with a paper cup over the handle?

Looks like a little man sliding down a ramp

What size is that? What sort of filter screen?

Looks like a fast pourer! how does it brew?

Nice score!

Be interested to hear your opinion on the difference between the wood fired and gas.

OMG that's sweet.

How does it brew? any noticeable difference to the standard?

I'm still so tempted but still sitting tight for the red. 8)

Touch wood I've been getting stuff sent via SAL now from Japan. Its quicker then express due to express sitting in customs for up to 10 days and 9 times out of 10 there's no charges. Usually it takes 5 working. My Tachi Masaki came like that  This is just for the UK though.

Its the handling fee which annoys me the most. 1. because its against the law to hold on too post due to dept yet they do anyway

2. I cannot pay myself, nor have I entered in to a contract for someone else to pay on my behalf. Yet I have to pay a £8-£13 handling fee.

/rant over

Anyway its a stunning pot and the cost will soon be forgotten. The swirl on the lid from the top is breathtaking. Your pictures make it look even more amazing then the AN ones.

Many thanks for sharing those.
