Mhm, yes, danger. I just ordered another, because I'll deeply need that gorgeous Shudei color in bleakest winter, right?, and because the size is just right for a nice chawan-sized bowl of sencha for those sorts of days, and because it isn't one of the terribly extravagant ones so I'm actually saving money according to my fabulous teaware reasoning, and mostly because nothing marries elegant form and efficient function quite as wonderfully as a nice Tokoname kyusu. Sigh. :wink:

Oh, nice. I got a newest Hojo magic clay small one too, 140 ml ... and a 200 ... and ... well let's just leave it at that for now. :oops:

Nice, mine is 120 ml! :D

I'm trying for the first time this kyusu today (I will devote it to unroasted Taiwanese Oolong) and from what I'm experiencing now, I'm madly in love! :oops: :oops:

My first session of with the 200 ml one delivered a wonderful sencha session. Rarely has a clay had such a positive effect for me with the very first steeping.

I have been using the 200 ml one for daily sencha(s).

I have to say that from the first cup with that teapot I also noticed some improvement .. maybe it is a characteristic of the clay.

How does 20% ownership of only 1 kyusu lead to only 15% of respondents using 1 kyusu? Should the poll have listed 0 for usage as one choice? It seems that 1/4 of those owning only 1, don't use it. (or are they using other people's to have a # higher than 1?)

Very nice! Is this the one from Artistic Nippon? It looks to be; I was also drawn to this piece and find it to have such an aesthetically pleasing texture and shape. The volume is a bit big for my usage though. Congratulations on the new piece. Really wonderful light in the photo!!

Not all people who voted for the number of kyusus that they own also submitted a vote for the number that they use.
