Many of his glazes are used on various teawares making them work well in many combinations.

Love it! What is it? ... The house guesses right now are that it's either a dog or a hippo.

gotta be a dog. looks vaguely like a chow chow.

Keep in mind also that the dog is on the Chinese zodiac, but the hippo is not.

My first thought was that it was a tanuki.

Website agrees. :D

Also, fantastic pot! It's kinda cute.

It's a japanese racoon dog. Kind of a lucky charm to japanese people.

So I'm sure you are all surprised, but yes another teachatter with a shigaraki kyūsu! I've dedicated mine to young (five years old at the most) sheng pu, and it hasn't taken long before the outside color has started to change. The inside of the empty dry pot smells sweet and, well, like young puerh.
Please excuse the shoddy camera work. Sorry for no "before" photos -- I'll see if it's okay to post Hojo's own photos of it...

It's about 80ml with a smooth pour (I think it's fast..?). The lid has some minor wiggle room, so the piece was discounted. I'm quite happy with it.
