Yeah i hope so! However, i don't have any experience yet with whisking in such an open and naked bowl:) So that'll be something new. I suppose I'll have to keep it at a certain angle and go somewhat slower than normal.debunix wrote:That is going to be simply gorgeous contrasted to the green of matcha. Fantastic.

Bit harsh getting the cat to make a new one and source the clay by itself but glad it worked out.debunix wrote:

It took a while because he had to find the right clay again. Entirely worth the anticipation.

Re: NEWEST CHAPTER! Show Off Your Pots and Cups XVII
So I signed up here a while ago and then promptly disappeared. In spite of this the tea journey goes on, firstly with a new pot I picked up from Andrzej Bero.
I managed to justify this purchase because all my other teaware was in storage as I moved cities and I clearly needed a nice teapot in the intervening time. Having completed the move it's all arrived and even found itself a nice new shelf to sit on.

I just got a new Petr Novak teapot in the mail yesterday. I posted some photos under his thread, but I'll post them here too because I'm excited to have gotten it. I'm not sure how well you can see it in these photos, but I absolutely love the really rough clay he used for this piece!

I love this tea box I bought from etsy. It is maple and has a nice tight seal.

I now see by the member's email that the etsy seller is the TeaChat member.
So I guess this ebay seller bought the one he is still selling from himself ...teahoarder wrote:I love this tea box I bought from etsy. It is maple and has a nice tight seal.
