This has become my most used tea-brewing vessel: great for taking on the road too!

Ethan,

Yes it does. I rarely use the cup as a cup!

I just got my first shino cup from an Etsy seller named GuerreroCeramics. Came in a very cute bow-wrapped box with a nice hand written letter.

Had the opportunity to take a nice photoshoot of the cup in the backyard with matching cat!

This is a cup from Joe Bruhin I purchased several months ago. His stuff's wood fired usually for ten days. Very nice ash glazes. The photos on his etsy page aren't great, so I was surprised how nice the cup was when I got it. Mine aren't much better, but I thought I'd share anyway.

The cup's much lighter than it looks, and there are a lot of interesting bumps and snags on the outside. If you hold it up the light shines through at those points, but it doesn't leak. A lot of fun to drink from.

Do you have a link to his shop?

That cup is very interesting and I'd like to look at more of his stuff.

Thanks. It's fun to study the ash glazes.

Beautiful cup, and I love the other stuff on his page as well! Looks like yet another thing to add to the long list. :)

He called my house once and then proceeded to flirt with my wife on the phone. It was so surreal,
