This year I bought 2 yixing pots - and I am not convinced that I bought wisely.
In Penang I went to visit William Ma, but sadly he was in China on a buying trip. The salesman in his shop was extremely pleasant and spoke good english but his knowledge of the products was somewhat less than William's.
I bought more of my favourite Yan Cha, and having previously purchased a great Yixing, I wanted to buy another.
Inside the shop I was tempted by this exquisite Hexagonal Qing Hui Ni. I should maybe have been warned off when he said it was wholly hand made, I retorted it was not and probably only half hand made, William's mother confirmed it was only half handmade.

The sticker on the outside, the salesman told me, showed it was from the most sought after Factory.

I was under pressure from my fellow vacationers to leave the shop, so made the purchase.

Away from the shop the greyness of the clay seems too homogenously perfect, the seamlessness inside makes me doubt if it is really half handmade.

But it is nice to use anyway
