Re: NEW! Official Teaware of the Day!
I feel I won't be able to appreciate it as it obviously deserves unless I can hold it in my hands, and watch a little shaft of sunlight through some tea inside it. Should be spectacular.

Re: NEW! Official Teaware of the Day!
While enjoying some pleasant speculation about the next TC SOP offering, I'm enjoying some Alishan oolong from Norbu, brewed grandpa style in my Petr-yaki shino chawan, from the same firing as his TC TA SO.

What beautiful colors!
I always look of chawans with beautiful and attractives colors on the Net and it is not easy.
Here is my chawan of day with delicious Matcha Samurai Inside

Lovely photo. And the background is very complimentary to your shino piece.

Re: NEW! Official Teaware of the Day!
Thank you
It is a view of one of my house's windows.
I have the chance to live at the border of a forest.
It is still very cold in Belgium. I shall be happy to take out soon my Chawan Sakura (with flowers painted on its face) of its cupboard, I hope

Re: NEW! Official Teaware of the Day!
No, not for the moment. The one under the pot is an electric stove.Benny214 wrote:Very nice!xiaobai wrote:My new bow... I mean... kettle.

The pot is made with heat-resistant clay, which allows it
to be used on a flame or an electric heater as well as coals.
However, using charcoal on a tatami room may not be a good
idea.
