The bright colors are fine with the simple design of your teaware selections. It's not the decor to bring out the best in a subtle loquat-glaze Hagi, but a smooth black kyusu and white porcelain cup, why not?

Would you mind to share how you are brewing this particular tea? Water volume and temperature, leaves quantity and infusions durations?

I'm having a hard time brewing it correctly, and I don't have much experience with sencha...
Yeah sure. I don't measure volume so what you see there in sencha (maybe around a heaped teaspoon) in about 80ml-90ml of water. 60c-63c for about 45 seconds. Then an instant infusion for the 2nd steep.

My family thinks I'm senile. I have to work in the office today and I gathered together what my husband called "my emergency tea kit". I have a Yixing gaiwan on order. For now it's little jars and bottles with an antique creamer for pouring. I'm headed to the store [we only have 1] to see if they have an electric kettle. If not I'm getting ANOTHER Utilitea from Adagios. I love it.

Test image with my most recent teaware purchase. I've had it for way too long, first I never got around to photographing it, then I ran into uploading troubles. Let's see if Imgur works better than flickr.

Woo hoo it works!

Lovely! Your excellent reviews on YouTube made me want to try Korean tea so I ordered several different kinds online from Morning Crane Tea. I can't wait to taste them!

It was a beautifully foggy morning today, with the mist curling through the trees. So I decided to actually take some time to sit out on my balcony and enjoy it.

Tea was a wild yuchi black from Taiwanteacrafts, with teaware that circles the globe--American tray, Korean tea-boat, Chinese teapot, and a Czech teacup--by Petr, of course. :D

I love your cup/bowl. Got any more photos of that one?
I ought to look in to some of Petr's work. All of his stuff looks amazing.

There's a bunch of new stuff up on darjeeling.cz.

That is a very harmonious collection.

Thank you! I have a few pictures, but I really need to take more to do them justice--they're #5 in Petr's 'Ten Gems' collection, called 'Nebulae' and you can see much better pics here, if you're interested:
http://www.potsandtea.blogspot.com/p/ten-gems_14.html. I feel very lucky and honored that he allowed me to snag them when I did. :)

19, 11 and 9 are amazing, as are your cups -- did you get the whole lot?
